Acer has launched the Acer Aspire one, a mobile Internet and communication device doe the Indian market. The device is designed to provide true mobile and wireless experience through continuous access to the Internet.

The 8.9-inch LCD and weight of less than 1 kg make it sleep and highly portable. The suite of easy-to-use software and battery life of up to 3 hours offer numerous connectivity possibilities. The Aspire one is equipped with a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, 80211 big Wi-Fi, Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP, 1 GB of RAM and is available in five trendy colors. Other features include a multi-format card reader, stereo speakers, 0.3 megapixel webcam, three USB ports and Ethernet port.
