Default The Acer 5920 laptop left keys not working!!!

    Hello,

I've had this laptop for a year and only the other day to plug in my power, while in the laptop to the left of the keyboard stopped working. A friend suggested to me that the battery for a bit and then connect it without the battery. So I did and the keyboard worked for a couple of days like this. Then one day it stopped working again.

I think you should re-seat the ribbon cable for your keyboard or you should replace your keyboard.

    Sorry…

You have to remove the keyboard, when you do this you will get to see the ribbon; the manual should tell you how to remove it. You have to do some research and it will be clear.

I think you should send it for service… the keyboard ribbon cable should have only 5% of similar problem.

You should not open the box; it is attractive and gives nice service.
