Thread: Aspire 3680 wifi laptop

It’s supposedly an Atheros card AR5BMB5 802.11BG. But it works exactly like a card AR5005G. Uses AR5005G drivers etc and you are right, uses 2 antennas. Both of which are located behind the LCD. (Had to take apart the lid of the paint) so instead of using both the antenna behind the screen, only with a close range, and the other RP-SMA is now powerful.
