Thread: Does my computer have a virus or other malicious program installed?

The problem: The computer freezes on the Windows log in display and will only accept 2 or 3 characters of my password. The power button does not work. I remove the power supply and battery and then switch on. I switch off again just as Windows restarts and then power because this gives me the option to restart in safe mode. I start in safemode and thereafter the computer rebooted normally three times and then the problem returned. Get a decent laptop Acer are shite

It depends if you have stuff you really wanna save(it can be done through safe mode although I don't know how to do it).If you have nothing to save I'd reformat it and start again.
