Our best buy in the July issue, the Aspire One A0751h is still a good bet for your wallet. Similar to the Eee PC 1101HA, it sports a 11.6-inch glossy screen, with a maximum screen resolution of 1366x768 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Despite its larger screen size, the laptop is still pretty slim and weighs a paltry 1.38-kg.
With its white screen cover and black bezel, palmrest and touch pad, the A0751h isn't as good looking as the seashell Eee PC 1101HA but better than the Benq Joybook Lite U121, Rest of the innards are similar, however: an Intel Atom Z520 1.33-GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive. It doesn't come with Gigabit Ethernet or Draft-N Wi-Fi. Its performance was similar to the Eee PC 1101HA, with a WoridBench score of 26 and 25, respectively. Like other netbooks we've compared, doing regular things like surfing the Web, working on documents and spread sheets, listening to music, etc., isn't an issue. Its larger chiclet-styled keyboard is a boon despite its netbook form factor, and keys are larger than those found on the MSI, Asus, and Benq netbooks-a treat to type on. Its touchpad is slightly smaller in comparison, though.
Another thing we like on the Aspire One A0751h is the port placement, and there are two dedicated buttons to flick on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. On full screen brightness and high performance mode, Battery Eater registered a time of 5 hours 36 minutes-not as good as the Eee PC but still pretty good, and better than the Benq U121.
