The outside seems the similar but the guts of the 2010 edition of the 13-inch MacBook Pro have been overhauled. This thin-and-light laptop now has characterizes a faster processor and double the graphics presentation. The 13-inch MacBook Pro seems just like last season’s MacBook Pro: the aluminum chassis, black island-style keyboard, great multitouch touchpad and slim, rounded lid all look recognizable. Yet its weight (4.4 pounds) and dimensions (12.8 x 8.9 x 1 inches) remain the similar creating this notebook a cinch to carry.

The ASUS U30Jc-1A, another 13-inch thin-and-light with superb graphics, weighs almost half a pound more. Akin to its predecessor, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is completed from a single, faultless part of aluminum, which denotes it’s tougher than most other notebooks in this cost range. The only disparity is that the battery is now non-removable. Our only gripe is that the system’s body scuffs rather simply, so you may desire to invest in a custom-fit cover.
