The scooter market is joyriding up and it's no surprised why. The urban traffic is acquiring from bad to worse and the requirement of the hour is a relatively cheap way of transport that is simple to use. Thus the requirement of the hour is a twist and go scooter, and that's why each producer appears to be keen to acquire into this section.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers carried out above where Kinetic Motors left off. Under collaboration with Sym, the Flyte and the Rodeo were below the spot lights in showrooms when the Duro, which was earlier called the Nova, was suited with the 125cc motor from the other 2 scoots and that was fairly much it.

The Duro proceeded to sell with the before trailing connection front suspension and although the engine was refined, the front suspension setup left a lot to be desired. But things have altered for the old workhorse, and it has today been changed into the novel Duro 125 DX.

I will begin off with the most apparent - the styling. The front end of the Duro has been totally patched and is now flat with some contours towards the periphery. The headlight is today broader for a better beam in the dark and if you have been observant, you will too notice the novel telescopic forks in lieu of the old trailing connection setup.

This one extra, the telescopic forks, have altered how the Duro moves totally. The scooter is now more stable about corners, and above minor waves, you will hardly notice the bumps as you go through. Above the deeper ruts, still, the suspension crashes in and then thuds rear out which can acquire small tiresome above an extended period of time.

The engine, although largely untouched internally, characteristics a novel dual curve ignition system along with a redesigned air intake tract and updated carburettor. Unhappily, the refinement of that engine, which is almost butter smooth in the Flyte and the Rodeo, appears to have gone everlastingly in the Duro. On level ground, the engine accelerates rather briskly to an indicated 60 kph and then it takes when to go further. Up inclines, though, the engine requires a fair amount of stick to hold it going.

Make standard of the Duro has immensely bettered, on a better paint complete and richer plastics. The panel (which are of plastic) gaps, though present if you appear hard plenty, have decreased appreciably as the last time we rode the Duro.

Everything in, the Duro is a great scooter which has today been improved amazingly by Mahindra 2 Wheelers. Though small rough about the edges, the Duro should be included as one of your choices if you are on the seem out for a good run about scoot. Pricing hasn't been declared still, though.
