TVS was the producer at the expo whoshowcased a slew of novel, useable technologies for India. Not content on displaying the recentlyreleased Vego and the entirely distinct JIVE motorcycle, TVS evenshowed the Qube 2.0 hybrid scooter concept. Yes, the Qube has beenaround some time, but this was the novel advanced edition which haslost a much more of the flab that was on the 1st editionand has morphed into a special sleek and well scooter that applies aprojector lamp for illumination.
TVS had even keep up a cutaway modelof the Qube powertrain to display how the mechanism performances. TheQube 2.0 is not going to arrive to a showroom almost you only till, but TVShas other technologies you will really acquire to apply, likeopposed to technologies dangled earlier us by other producers whichdon’t have a opportunity of arriving here in any useable form forthe almost ahead.
A first for any Indian producer is OEABS equipped bikes – TVS had the ABS equipped RTR 180 with screen. The racing 160 concept was even with screen, entire with racingfairing and rear set foot pegs. A extremely neat touch is the TVSlogo cut out of the aluminium extrusion with which the foot pegs areclimbed. They did not have to but they did.
A concept quad was on display as wellas a 250cc liquid cooled dirt bike (no, they are not going to belaunched as of now, so don’t get those hopes up!). The scooterlineup was also on show, being represented by the Scooty pep, Vegoand the Streak.
Along with the pre-existing commuterline, the Jive was with screen along with a cutout of the “T Matic”geared automatic engine that powers the bike. This bike has beencovered in detailed by motoroids and is in a section of it’s own, nothing similar having been released in India earlier apart from thelong deceased Hero Honda Street.
