Thread: Lean A/F Mixture?

Can I modify the A/F mixture from 2 3/4 out from sitting after changing carb?It seems to be not right operating excellent. Symptoms are taking in fatigue while downshifting. Sputtering going up through equipment,and a common deficiency of energy in 5th equipment. It seems i just can,t get the right A/F mixture right. Plugs we are wealthy at first,then ran some sea foam through reservoir,while creating little modification to A/F mixture,then examined connects again and they are fresh looking not smoke or oil. But it still sputters under full. I changed the airplanes from damaged carbs to new carbs after washing alternative carbs very excellent. Any help is greatly appreciated. It is an 03 BTW,with on the right part.

If the A/F attach still has the limiter tab on it, the preliminary establishing has to be created before the carbs is absolutely put back together. I believe I have formerly wrongly mentioned the preliminary establishing was 2 3/4 changes rather than the appropriate 2 1/4 changes out from gently sitting.

The Ford Assistance Guide says the preliminary establishing for the lead attach is 2 3/4 out and 2 1/4 out for thin air. My Ford manual said to depend the changes out before elimination and come back it to that when reassembling. Expert said 2 1/4 changes. Not sure it is all that crucial.
