Contrary to how TVS is marketing the RTR through advertisements, I have been using my long term bike mostly for commuting with my better half. Be it the daily grind to office and evening shopping rides, or the occasional Pune-Mumbai trips, the Apache never complains. Of course, on outstation rides, I do like to squee2e every single horsepower and boy does she respond. Even with a pillion, serious speeds are not an issue, though I would have preferred a relaxed seating posture for long rides. Also, the engine tends to get a bit rough at higher cruising speeds.
In ciry traffic, the fantastic horn and punchy engine come in handy. The backlit display looks good at night and the beam throw is spot on. The RTR has been with us for almost a year now. The bike remains comfortable for short stints. Some of the lucky few rode the EFI on the track and the feedback from them has made me crave for one. So, TVS, when do we getting the fuel injected RTR.
