Of late, my experience with the Pulsar 220 has been quite different. I have never the ridden her this way previously. The recent track day on another 220 has made changes to the way I now push my bike through the numerous twisties around Pune. I have discovered new limitations and abilities of the machine, and how good it actually is. The fantastic grippy MRF ryres do the job well but it is the center stand that really spoils the fun. My life with the '69' (the registration number guys!) has got a whole new meaning now.
Morning starts still bother me and fuel economy has dipped to the low 30S as I have been pushing the bike lately. Also while riding the bike fast on hills, I have noticed the red warning light come up quite a few times. Other riders suggest this to be related to a lack of sufficient air coming in through the stock filter replacing it with a free flow one might help. At sssokm, on the whole, it remains a fuss free and fun bike for both ciry and highways.
