After the YZF-R15, Yamaha is all set to conquer the premium 150cc segment with its all new FZ150. The final stages of testing are being wrapped up and expect the bike to hit showrooms by the end of September, this year. The FZ is an important model as Yamaha has never been present in this burgeoning segment, which is experiencing the highest growth rate. While the R15 is positioned at the higher spectrum, the FZ will compete with the likes of Apache 160 RTR and Pulsar 180/200.

The Styling is a straight rip-off from the popular FZl Fazer naked bike and the FZ15will be the best looker in the segment when launched. The bike will feature an air cooled 150cc engine mated to a 5-speed 'box. A full digital clock cluster has also been spotted on test mules, including a digital tacho. Expect premium pricing if all these goodies make it to the production version.
