Triumph recently announced its much anticipated cruiser, to be positioned below the Rocket III. The new Triumph Thunderbird will feature an all-new 1600cc parallel twin engine, six-speed gearbox and belt drive. Triumph claims the new bike in the premium cruiser category will combine sleek and modern custom styling with strong performance and great dynamics. The company has not specified output figures.
Triumph's incredibly compact supersport bike, the Daytona 675 also heads for a makeover for model. The only three cylinder bike in its class now weighs 3kg less and develops 3PS more power than the outgoing model. The 675cc engine now comes with a 450rpm higher rev limit while the hydraulic cam chain tensioner and higher ratio first gear come straight from the race kit to become standard equipment for the road. A 2kg lighter exhaust system, recalibrated fuel injection and revised cylinder head with new valves and a modified combustion chamber, contribute to pumping out 128PS of power and redline of 13,950rpm.

The colours for the model year would be Jet Black and Tornado Red. Triumph will be adding a plug and play quickshifter soon to its genuine accessories range.
