Thread: Yamaha FZ6

While the R1 steals the spot light, there's another Yamaha that's capable of making news. Year 2will see an all-new FZ6 and FZ6R, the latter being a fully faired version of the naked middle weight. The bike gets the mill from the previous generation R6 with forged pistons and a redesigned cylinder head for kicking low and mid range thrust. The earlier twin underseat exhaust system has also been dumped in favour of a new 4-1 system with a midship muf¬fier exiting just below the engine.
