The sport fever is catching on fast and Bajaj has never been averse ro tweaking its bikes ro ensure mat they stay at me business end of the marker. Whatever me consumers demand, good manufacrurers hand over on a planer. That was how the Discover started off in me first place, going from a feeble commurer machine ro me 135cc moror and showing no real signs of slowing down. In fact, li! it is likely ro take up the Pulsat man de and cater ro even the 150cc segmenr in the near future. cs Of course there wasn't much argumenr when Bajaj decided it fairing with inregrated rurn lamps hugging me tank, snazzier graphics, wheel stripes and even a digital console with a tachometer.

The all¬black theme is carried on, the five spoke alloys sporr the same design and there's also a disc brake at the fronr. A lime switch has also been added on the handlebar, which auromatically reacrs (when switched on) ro smoomen mrorde inputs. This aids fuel efficiency and allows you ro ride me way you want, while a smart litde sensor worries abour the amounr of fuel that is being squirted in for combustion. The difference in response, however, is very slighr and you need ro pay close anenrion to notice it as you wring me throttle's neck. The Darm Vader-like profile of me headlamp remains inract, as do me rest of me panels. The changes are subtle and need a second look before you figure our what has changed. Bur it all gels pretty well.

Walk closer to me bike and you notice that the fairing looks more like a hack job, as me lines don't really Aow smoothly. Switchgear quality is preny good mough, and pretty easy ro operate. The riding position is also comfortable and the bike feels light and Aickable in urban traffic. Engine responses are quite good, with the 13bhp doing a sprightly job, although it gets noisy as you push harder. Out on the highway, the Discover doesn't feel quite at home as the Pulsar. It feels nervy and twitchy at high speeds (the speedo clocked a full 92kph). One grouse however, still remains¬me all-down shift panern feels uninruitive, especially on something mat looks as sporty as mis. All said and done, I am not very sure how much appeal me Discover Sporr would hold. Especially given the currenr market scenario, and also wim bigger brother Pulsar 150 only a few mousand bucks away.
