The Bajaj Avenger is a squad car style motorbike conceptualized and produced by Bajaj Auto in India. It sketches the styling and other design prompts from the Bajaj Eliminator which had an air-cooled, single cylinder Kawasaki engine and was vend at a premium.
To increase a calculated position in the finest segment, Bajaj engineers puts back the Kawasaki single with the indigenously imagined and more victorious, 178.6 cc DTS-i engine from the Bajaj Pulsar sport bike. However, the engine had to be re-tuned to suit the torque-demanding characteristics of a cruiser. There was a massive slash in the price tag thus making it the highest worth for money package in the market. It is also the initial cruiser urbanized by an Indian company. The wheelbase is 1,475 mm, the greatest in any motorcycle in India.
