According to Suzuki, the majority of buyers will choose Splash 1.2 - liter engine, and this is a good choice. Engine smooth and refined, with decent low-end torque, while the precise action makes the five-speed gearbox pleasant to use. 1.3-litre diesel is torquier, but significantly more expensive. Built on a shortened version excellent platform Swift, Splash is entertaining to drive. It is smooth and composed, and surprisingly good highway cruiser, but on the back roads it provides a decent access and control. However, we find the steering Splash on our test vehicle was slightly lighter than the equivalent Vauxhall Agila.
