The face-lifted Logan has just been launched by Renault subsidiary Dacia in Romania and it can only be a matter of time before the Indian Logan gets the make'Over. The entry level sedan gets a mild face-liftimd spruced up interiors but parent company Renault has decided to continue with the same powertrains. Which isn't a bad idea considering that the engines have been appreciated for their efficiency. The sore spot in the entire value for money pack-age was always the looks, which unfortunately the new Logan does not address adequately.
However, there are a few lines which have been altered to improve the appearance. It gets bigger and more rakish head lamps which move in towards the grille. The front grille itself gets a fresh new look with horizontal black slits and a chrome upper lip. While the new bumper does sport fresh, new look fO'g lamps, it is still quite similar to existing model. On the rear, the Bangle boot now extends to the tail lamp assembly giving the car a more symmetrical look. Although Renault continues with the same engines and gearbox, expect the car to be more refined when it comes to India before the year ends.
