Honda's CR-V depicts itself as a four-wheel-drive SUV, when actually it is almost like a car. Honda has stiffened its struc¬ture and the suspension has been extensively reworked. These changes make the CR-V amongst the best handling soft-roaders around. The exterior is also all-new and quite bold and eye-catching. The insides are plush and rich; the familiar 2.4 petrol engine that drives the Accord also pow¬ers the CR-V and is mated to a six-speed manual, though an auto is an option. On the road, the CR-V is a great runner.
