With as many as nine Ms running about, BMW has never had this many in the line up. For the M3 sedan gets a new rear with updated lights, and all M3s get interior updates and active headrests. The M5 and M6 get larger outside mirrors and BMW say regenerative braking and other fuel saver tech's on its way. New iDrive does all Ms also, of course. The M6 Coupe also gets a Competition Package lowered, adaptive suspension, new electronics, new wheels and some visual changes.
Meanwhile, Auto Motor und Sport says future Ms will get high-rewing turbo motors, but the current Touring 3er will not get an M version, neither an M1. On the other hand, M versions of the X5 and X6 are coming. But the really big news is that BMW may/may not be working on a 470 bhp M3 CSL. Yeah, the German report nixes it, while others point to a stripped down, carbon-clad powerhouse.
