The real production version of Suzuki's Kizashi concept 3 will look like. Yes, it is headed towards India and will be Maruti's answer to the premium D segment cars like the Honda Civic, the Toyota Altis, the Skoda Octavia and the VW Jetta. There have been three different Kizashi concepts showcased till date. The first and the most advanced looking car at the Frankfurt Motor Show was followed by the second concept at Tokyo. However, it was at New York that Suzuki showcased a sedan version of the concept named Kizashi 3. This is the concept on which Suzuki's new sedan will also be based. It is learnt that Maruti is already working on this new sedan for India and the car will be here sooner than expected.
Of course, as is the case with most concept cars that see the light of production, the actual car will be toned down considerably on the looks front. The interiors are believed to be spacious thanks to a long wheelbase and we can very well expect a futuristic design for the inside as well. Power wise, there have been no confirmations but Suzuki will be using a ISO+ horsepower 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine as well as a 3.6-lirre V6 rated between 280 and 300 horsepower for the top end version. For India though, Maruti may use the all new 2.0-litre diesel engine made by Suzuki plus other perrol engines.
