Thread: National Racing Championship

At the Mardras Motor Sports Track event it was a race of twin wins. The defending champion, Aditya Patel (son of former racer Kamlesh Patel) won both races in the Formula Rolon category with a superb display of driving establishing his rule in this category. In the 600cc category for Super Bikes, Praveen Keerthi won both races, while in the 1OOOcc category, Mazhar Ahmed had a clean sweep in both races. The veteran B Vijayakumar was also in top form as he won both races in the Saloon car class, while Mazdayar Vatcha took the honours in both races of the Race Star category. Strangely the same driver or rider, ended up winning both races, in each of the categories.
