Mercedes-Benz just wants to fill another niche in the market, with a 'shooting brake' with suicide rear doors. But no, the ConceptFascination, "inspired by the world of equestrianism," is just a pointer to Merc's two upcoming stars. The muscular nose is said to look a lot like that of the current ClK's replacement, while the rear is said to be close to the next E-Class estate.



Equally important is that is shows that the next E-Class range is going for a sportier image, with sleeker lines and less of an emphasis on practicality than the current car. Also, there won't be a ClK any more. Mercedes wants to revive the spirit of the revered W124 E-Class las in the first E220 that came to India!. which in Europe was sold as a saloon, an estate, a coupe and a cabriolet. So the CLK replacement will be called an E-Class coupe.
