THE BEST PORSCHE PANAMERA CAR, will be launched worldwide in 2009, and it's only a matter of time before it comes to India. The big Porsche is a true four-seater, unlike the 911, which just about has space for two small children at the back. It is also the first front-engined Porsche, discounting the Cayenne of course. Porsche clearly sees potential in this segment, and aims to sell 20,000 Panameras a year world¬wide. Engine options are said to include Cayenne-derived V8s, with the possibility of a cheaper V6 version as well. Porsche's new PDK gearbox, launched recently on the 911, will be one of the transmission options.
