This is the same motor which powers the Laura, and will give the Fabia some much-needed punch_ It will be an expensive car of course, given the already costly pricing of the Fabia, but will come with all bells and whistles. Skoda is intent on positioning the Fabia as a premium compact, and a bigger engine is one way of justifying the premium price-tag.
