However, LPG isn't more eco-friendly than petrol, as it produces more CO2Also the toroidal-shaped LPG tank sits in the boot, occupying valuable luggage space in what is already a small boot. It should prove cheap to run though, and this will be its USP. Hyundai plans to sell the car in two trims, the Santro Eco GL and GLS costing Rs 3.53 lakh and Rs 3.73 lakh respectively.
