Toyota Prius T-Spirit Now in its third iteration, Toyota's hybrid remains the car of choice for celebrities wishing to offset their carbon footprint. The new Prius is a marked improvement on its forebear, doing 31.5kpl and releasing only 89g of C02 per kilometer. Toyota has worked its hybrid synergy drive magic to up the power output from llobhp to 134bhp and the dashboard is awash with LEDs, including a gauge that suggests - not annoyingly at all- how economical your driving is.
Further advancements include a dedicated "Eco" driving mode, an EV mode that gives you a couple of electric-only miles, parking assist and a heads-up display that shows Your speed and satnav directions on the windscreen.
