    Default Hp ze5700 pavilion notebook

I am having troubles with this Hp laptop. I can't obtain much data from hp online chat. They can't even find the accurate service manual for this model. It freezes at the hp logo display, can't do any of the supposed diagnostics built in to this laptop. I required taking away the hard drive and them certain I the manual for the ze5200 was the exact one, but the hard drive will not approach out the way it describes. I do not want to use the manual for the ze5200 anymore. As far as I know this is a 2.8 GHz Celeron with 256 mb of pc333 ram. Its part number that I am desirable to use to get appropriate specs from hp DZ361U#ABA. It is a ze5700us and the sequential number is CNF41810F7. Does anyone have any suggestions??

    Please give me the solution.

    1) that device is a POS...Yes I am presently typing from one right now.

    2) The HD is really very simple to remove. 3 screws on the front/bottom of the machine in the middle. 2 are visible, and the third is unseen under the rubber stopper along the front bezel. Take out the 3 screws, and slightly wiggle the bezel, then drag out.

I hope this helps. I can try to look for the manual if you still need information from it.

Ok, happy to listen from someone. The hidden screw did the trick on the hard drive. Thanks. It was not mentioned in the ze5200 guidebook. Am I wrong in thinking that these HP's are excessively difficult to repair with all the reprogramming involved in replacing hardware? Have you read the repair guidebook? This is the first HP I have seen or worked on. I am used to working on IBM. No reprogramming involved, either. I have the reaction that the earlier owner left this laptop on a bed or chaise longue and it excited and damaged the CPU and or motherboard.

Hope, I have not read the repair guidebook. Just heard who likes to split his machines apart. I really did not read the guidebook to get the hard drive out. Just needed it detached so looked for any concealed screws.

    Sorry I can’t help further.

ZE5700 computer serial comes standard with 512 MB of DDR SDRAM as well as can hold up to 1024 MB between its two RAM slots. The ability of the computer to connect with other devices assistants provide it with additional capabilities.
