Dell is preparing a successor to its ultraportable Latitude XT2 Tablet PC convertible, the Latitude XT-3.*Scheduled for summer 2011, it sports a size of 13 inches and looks under Intel platform Huron River course with Sandy Bridge processor.
So unlike the Latitude XT2, which adopts a format 12.1-inch, Dell provides a little more for his successor, the Dell Latitude XT-3, which will benefit from a format of 13 inches*multi-touch rotary*support with active stylus.
And that's not all the Dell Latitude XT-3 will also benefit from the new platform Huron River with a processor Intel Core*Sandy Bridge*i3, i5 or Core i7 depending on options. This CPU will be accompanied by 4 GB DDR3 RAM, a hard drive with encryption function, a fingerprint reader with TPM security chip and a card reader, all under Windows 7.
It is also stated on the roadmap that the Latitude XT-3 will flow to transit through its Full HD 1080p video output: in other words, the HDMI should be present and / or DisplayPort. The launch of the Dell Latitude XT-3 market is planned for the month of*July 2011,*and should be available in time for back to school.
