Default The Studio XPS 1340 Benchmarks

I received my DELL XPS Studio 1340 a couple of days ago and I have to reference it against a couple of games and applications. My specifications are:

    P8600 2.4GHz
    3GB DDR3
    320 GB 7200rpm
    WLED WXGA
    256mb 9500M G
    6 cells
    Bluetooth
    Vista Home Premium 64-bit

This is very thorough, good job. Its 3DMark 06 results still seem kind of low though - most of us are getting around 3550 in hybrid SLI with the original drivers CD Dell (same resolution).

The reason my results are a little lower is because I only have 3 GB of RAM, I think. That means I have one stick of 2GB + 1GB of here, which means they are not dual channel. Since the system works with 9400M of RAM, running on two channels should net a small memory bandwidth to increase the 9400M.

To help, I ran again with the latest drivers from Dell (178.75) and rose 30 points to 3580, so they are a little better, but perhaps not as much as NVIDIA.

Great job SC4freak. Have you tried using Laptopvideo2go drivers 185.20? I have installed, but only scored 3280 in 3DMark06 with a P9500 and 4GB of RAM. They have not even tried to 179.48.

No matter, I got DELL 3680 with 182.05 and 3880 by OC'ing the 550 members in 9400 and 1300 basic and upping the FSB to 280MHz on the CPU. Can not seem to get the DELL 9200 (NVIDIA control panel tells me I've made a selection invalid when I try to change the clock speed in 9200).

I bought the DELL Studio XPS 1340 about two weeks ago and so far I have not been disappointed, but now I see the game the differences between the DELL 9400M and DELL 9500M. I wonder if you can upgrade your video card, because mine only came with the DELL 9400M. Thanks and ill wait for the answer.

If you're in the U.S., and still within of 2 weeks of delivery, must be able to return for free.

I bought it at a local dealer, which came with a DELL 9400M G. I just want to know all the guru of technology is upgradeable and if I hear the 9500M G is simply a 9400M G, 9200M GS with a so it can theoretically to improve? Must my logic, but if not please let me know. Thanks all.
