I received my E6400 with XP on it. I did a clean install of Vista Business and now Sais the reader of contact less smart card is turned on in security center (while the normal is known). Am I missing a driver or should I change something?

The battery also shows a little wear. When fully charged, RMClock a sample of the remaining capacity 57720mWh and fully charged capacity 54246mWh. However, after approximately one minute of operation in the remaining battery capacity drops to 53968m.
I do not think this is the discoloration caused by the paint or the lack thereof. I think the black screen bezel Palmrest and it is natural that the plastic is simply worn (due to lack of rubber pads). That said, my E6400 is a period of three months old and already has REFURB some wear on the edges of the screen and bezel Palmrest.
Had a similar problem and not just Shaggy Mac buffed away all the marks, which protect against the future?
Yes, I have seen the same effect on my E6400 and the exchange of original one. Moreover, at first thought the problem was not new, but now it's getting worse. I just can not believe Dell just does not make the same two caps at the top of the screen, and next to the speakers. I talked to a tech about it and he said I might be able to obtain a temporary on-site NBD replacement of the rear cover.
I have 2 rubber pads under each speaker grille (installed that way) and I have similar scratches on the top of the screen corners. That occurs at the height of the camera but is on the corners. What appears "bright" but in fact they are scratching and can be seen in the lower lip (which pulls the mouse buttons) along the edge as well.
After my new Dell E6400 is already showing some wear on the upper screen bezel ... I just published one thing Dell Idea Storm.
How to keep the hinges over time in the Dell series E? Does the typical developing dell "wobble"? That is one beef I have always had with Dells.
There are about 8mm movement at the top of the screen on my Dell E6400 when it is vertical, which is much more than when it was new. However, when the screen is almost closed then there is no freedom of movement.
I've seen some shaken develop most laptops I've used, so I would say it is not a problem specific to Dell. The real problem is when you lose the friction hinge and the screen starts moving by itself. No sign of that happening.
