First question: Is everyone who orders the DVD 8A2S get PLDS DU-DVD? Second question: Is anyone facing problem with this burner burning or even reading?

I'm getting the PLDS DU-8A2S burner also and that really vibrates!
Have to install copies of original DVDs and read. I have not tried anything yet, despite the burning.
I feared the worst, and real enough, the unit I have a 7200rpm Seagate Momentus 7200.2 disappointing. Prefer to go higher still cheaper at 5400RPM WD 320 GB, which can offer better performance! I will probably call Dell to get something else. To make things worse in the department of storage, whether the assembly of the unit has not been done, or just the unit vibrates too - I'm getting very soft but perceptible buzz when I put the laptop on my desk.
I stay in Singapore, while its plant in Penang, Malaysia. It takes about 12 hours or less by ground transportation to get from the floor of SG. But I am very surprised with the speed of my laptop is out of the factory!
Slots on the hard drive directly into a bay in the chassis and is held there by two screws so there is no way that any HDD noise is blocked by the usual rubber mounts.
I think it's ridiculous, because the vibration is transmitted all the way to get a humming sound. I have never encountered such a problem with any of my previous laptops that use HP as a bay, with 7200rpm drives mounted without AAM. I guess that goes back to the hard drive and see how it goes from there.
All we can do is check if the screws are tightened. There is a lot of space in the slot, but might be able to put tape on the bottom of the unit next to the screws so that when the screws are tight, there is more unity between the soft and chassis.
Now continue with the vibration, and I have a little loose and the bracket due to bending when I took it to / put back. I think we have to change a disc if I do not want the vibration.
I received my E6400 with XP on it. I did a clean install of Vista Business and now Sais the reader of contact less smart card is turned on in security center (while the normal is known). Am I missing a driver or should I change something?
I've been using my E6400 as the main equipment of the bypast few life (now I individual sufficiency software installed) and not get the flex to be momentous in modal usance. My main ill is the piloting keys hidden in the berth sect quandary.
