I feel like spending 1800 on a laptop can I expect at least basic working knowledge of audio. Well, I will call Dell in the morning and see what they have to say.
I'm using Vista also. Not really study more, but still does not resolve your. I was mostly busy getting my DVD recorder to work. (Get a replacement one tomorrow; I hope it solves my problems.)
He ordered a better place to specd Dell T500 slightly cheaper. I will miss is the LED screen that seemed absolutely beautiful. Otherwise, Dell can keep the rest. Funny that my i8600 and still working perfect until today (3 years later).
Sorry to hear about your problems with crackling sound. I had a similar experience with Dell D630 and ended up returning it. You can read about it here, if you wish. Based on this experience, it seems that skips the audio may be due in part to the presence of a discrete video chip.
After reading your message, I'm more inclined to the video card that wireless card (which my research suggested the culprit). This is based on the fact that the disabled and the wireless card uninstall the drivers and still go to jump, and the fact that the problem was with my pcmcia card Audigy also. The only other time I've had this kind of crackling in my desktop that was resolved to reinstall my NVIDIA drivers.
That will send a technician soon ... I hope that the replacement of the motherboard / speakers do not screw anything else, as I listened to other's experience.
Hm it is only in some motherboards? Or are we the only ones to complain. I suppose that if a design flaw that nothing replaces won’t really help.
I noticed slight crackle on my Dell E6400 w / discrete video. Have not had the opportunity to look at it, however, only the head while watching a web clip streaming and thought it was the cause. Does the problem when listening to MP3 and such?
Dell technicians replaced the speakers crackle on my Dell M4400. Even offered to replace him (?), which seemed a bit uncomfortable at Dell. Should be surprised that these business lines and faulty equipment had wanted to study or something. I forget ... REFURB declined.
