THE SLIMMEST CAMERA on test at just 18mm, the 5210 still finds room for Face Detection, DLighting and Shake Reduction. This brushed-metal beauty is also one of the most user friendly on test, with few advanced user options to trouble photographic neophytes. If all you wish to do is snap acquaintances in compromising positions, this is just the job, even though picture quality isn't out of the very top drawer.
There's nothing outrageously bad about it at all, but colours are a little soft and it struggles with high-contrast areas. Despite that, we really like the 5210. It doesn't set the camera world ablaze, but if you're after an easy point and-shooter, you can't ask for much more.
