8 January 2007 – Samsung today announce the launch of the 7.2 mega-pixel i70, feature 3x zoom and a large 3.0” LCD. This best camera features an inventive sliding cover which, when opened, reveals the intuitive 9-button User Interface. The i70 has an eye-catching, body design and special surface finish. This combine with multimedia capabilities to make it a above all attractive camera for people who demand entertainment on the move.



The Samsung i70’s multimedia capabilities include a Portable Media Player and an MP3player so the user can have video and music on the go. It also has a text watcher that enables you to read whilst listen to music. The I(Intelligent)-movie ability supports TV quality MPEG-4 (720x480) at 15fps, combine with image stabilization and in camera editing.

The i70 includes Samsung’s Intelligent Face Recognition Technology, which detects the subject’s face, mechanically adjust auto focus and auto contact to ensure better work of art and image quality in portraits, and other shots feature people. The AF meaning instantaneously recognizes the faces of subject and accurately focuses on them. The AE function then takes over, setting the appropriate exposure to ensure the highest image quality.
