The second contender in the poll, the Nikon Coolpix L11 faired well in our test. The L11, looks similar to its predecessor L10, though it's not exactly same in terms of features. The L11 sports a 6-megapixellens and features a 3x optical zoom. This budget 6-megapixel from Nikon is flashy and loaded with features. Its compact design makes it easy to carry. The 2.4in LCD in the L11 provides more room for viewing than the 2in found in the L10. The L11 features Red-Eye Fix flash and Face-priority auto focus.
These features are very handy while shooting. The L11, like the 110 does not offer much manual control. You cannot change image settings on the camera. The camera has also got preset scene modes that let you adjust the settings depending on the shooting conditions. The L11 offers good quality as a budget camera. There was minimal distortion observed in our tests and colours reproduced pretty well. Indoors or outdoors, the L11 clicked pictures that were crisp and clear. The L11 also comes with a 1GB of SD card, camera case and batteries along with the charger as free goodies. If you are looking for an inexpensive digital camera that can deliver the goods, then go for this one. This is definitely our Editors' Choice.
