Default Sony NEX NEX-5 and APS-3 compact optical exchangeable!

After Panasonic and Olympus micro 4 / 3, and Samsung NX format, it is now a big name in electronics to offer a range of compact interchangeable lens: Sony. With the NEX (currently the range is available in two models NEX-NEX-3 and 5), Japan's brand offers ultra-compact camera equipped with a new APS-C (the same size as those of an SLR) and E a mount for mounting different objectives. We were able to take over the Sony and NEX NEX-5-3 and we will deliver our first impressions.

The range of Sony NEX currently consists of two boxes, the NEX 3 NEX-5. At first glance, few differences. We must take control of the two devices to perceive the nuances. The NEX-3 is slightly higher (the bayonet does not exceed the housing), but above the handle is much less hollow. The grip is a little less easy. The finish is also different; NEX-3 is a polycarbonate, while the NEX-5 is magnesium. At the hit, the difference is significant, but not blatant. It also notes that the startup command is located around the trigger.

Atomize the Samsung, I will not go far! This APS-C is two very close and smells of war! None of the two seems to have taken the microphone!
For cons the Samsung has a viewfinder! But Sony has incorporated stab (the objectives are theoretically cheaper and everyone will enjoy the stab).
In return, the Sony is heavy! 420g is more than GH1!
But the gust 5 fps, it's a very good level SLR
Samsung could be cheaper and offer the other gadgets that offer in 2011? AMOLED, WiFi, Bluetooth but Sony is Sony. Although this is not the Sony 80's who gobbled the other, with Sony, I am still on.

According to rumors, if there is a 16, 35 and 60. The trick is already almost complete at launch. AC will also avoid the mistake of Ricoh is a super box with images far superior to a micro 4 / 3 but with a single optical.

why not keep the same frame that their reflex, wrong again, before you rush into the niche I'm going to wait that offers Nikon (even longer) and especially to see if he keeps their horses and iconic features a high quality EVF (I'd like to keep the shoe for additional accessories that a viewfinder).

I not blame Ricoh to innovate but rather not be going after their idea is something bastard.
Here Sony pat on the heavy line, this year is extraordinary I think. It was really new, things that change and responses to the desires that we all have in years. I thought the crisis would slow these innovative approaches, but it did not seem to be the case, I would say is better.

For these Sony cons, besides the fact that it weighs 30% more than its rivals, it has an abnormal thickness of 51mm!
35mm for Olympus and 36.3 for the Panasonic (the Samsung does not seem thick on the picture section).
Maybe handfuls are there a 51mm and reflect the handle (it does not 51mm on the length of the box)!
Good point in width, 110mm is 1 cm shorter than the others!
Bravo Sony for more compact and incorporate an APS-C!

Finally a case that "inspires". Samsung NX10 strangely not excites much!
I do not like the brand; I have bad memories of their stews when I worked at FNAC! Samsung there’s 20 years was the equivalent "low-end Chinese" today!

Besides the savings, this means that the case will be supported!
Many of them provided foutront Raw (probably the same) but those who want a photo tip top will not hesitate to shoot in RAW and pass the pictures through DXO to reduce any noise (superb new version 6) and correct distortion and chromatic aberration!

My selection was the large sensor compact (not necessarily interchangeable optics).
The idea is to make quality pictures with a compact SLR almost all manufacturers choosiest a different way but the common idea is to have quality compact!

It's like a car magazine decided to make a comparison, and that the criterion was the performance on the motorway! Housing size and quality are two essential criteria will be but few customers who hesitate between an Olympus EP-2 and a Leica X1.
Large touch sensors fixed focal group of customers (already equipped with a reflex for example) that seek two functions: density and quality
The purchaser of compact interchangeable lens has three requirements: compact, quality and versatility! It uses a Bridge because he likes the 600mm zoom equivalent to it is a once a year for a safari but is disappointed with the quality compared to the bulk of the item! It is therefore much smaller for the same quality (a compact), or a great quality for an equivalent size (Sony Alpha 550? Pentax KX?) But he wants to keep the possibility of a telephoto lens because he thinks going to Namibia the next year! He just sold his account or Reflex do because ultimately it's too cumbersome.
