Skype has been released in version 2.0 for smartphone with Androidoperating system. The chat and VoIP software now supports video calls with other Skype users. The discussions can be conducted both via wifi and via the mobile network.
The need to own smartphone but has a front camera and the current operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread feature. The video function is therefore at present only with the Nexus S, the HTC S, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo and Pro possible. The function will soon be extended to other models.
