    Default Skype 2.0 for Android enables video calls


    Skype has been released in version 2.0 for smartphone with Androidoperating system. The chat and VoIP software now supports video calls with other Skype users. The discussions can be conducted both via wifi and via the mobile network.

    The need to own smartphone but has a front camera and the current operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread feature. The video function is therefore at present only with the Nexus S, the HTC S, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo and Pro possible. The function will soon be extended to other models.

    In Skype 2.0 for Android developers also have the completely redesigned user interface. There is a new main menu that can be navigated easily through the contacts. Moreover, access to the profile easier. The status window has been moved to the main page, making it easier than ever for users to tell their friends and acquaintances how they feel, what they have experienced or what they are doing.
