Recently I purchased HTC Wildfire. It is Android 2.1, but is designed to ensure that the switch to 2.2 in the second half of 2010.
The resolution is really annoying compared to the screen size (3.2 ")?

I received it Wednesday is my first smartphone, but not my first PDA, the resolution does not bother me, at this price I am willing to compromise on resolution. By cons I am not a user of 3D games or DivX on TV.
The resolution will be a problem as on the HTC Tattoo. Full applications will not appear on the Market. Those who will appear badly framed (but not all).
I have not tested the GPS. I use Gmail and exchange sync without problem.
And regarding the applications market I have not felt Aldiko separate problem that is not framed well actually, this is the first apps that I did it.
The Spica is not the problem either (and it is not really quick to answer the question in the first post, the Hero is more compact).
But I think my friend exaggerates a little, due to worries that the resolution is now, but today most applications run well on Android known small screens anyway.
And you do not understand!
There is a bug on the Market! Many applications do not appear on the Market when using a phone with a QVGA resolution (such as Wildfire and the Tattoo). The bungling of the application display is another problem.
But there's no bug, if some apps are indispose with QVGA is normal, it just does not support because this low resolution.
It's like when you're looking for an Android application is only compatible with 2.1 + Android 1.5 phone what.
So what should we choose as a smartphone? Wildfire has the Android 2.1, or hero? I heard that it can be 2.2 Android! Is this true?
The Spica is not a problem at all. But I still think that my friend have the tendency of making mountain out of a molehill.

The only question with the speech sound is that the screen out is not bigger enough that will determine his judgment and the decision does not appear atrocious.
