Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray players Samsung says this player offers un compromised video quality and we agree. Though not the hottest of designs we have seen, it still manages to provide the user with some really great features. This Blue-ray disc player is one of the world's first standalone BD players. The disc tray and a USB port are well hidden behind the flip down panel which straddles the whole length of the player. There is another USB port at the bock, along with other ports, including on HDMI and Ethernet. You must be wondering why a Blueray play¬ers should come equipped with on on Ethernet LAN port, required mainly for Net access? Well, this player is designed to stream movies directly from Netflix, a feature, unfortunately, not yet avail¬able in Indio. But, you con stream movies from your Pc. Disc loading time is also low. Overall you have a good slim Blueray player for your home for a great picture and sound experience.
