Thread: Why people are still saying the Patriots are cheaters even though it was just one game?

From me as a Saints person(i'm not a bandwagon or a Patriots fan, i'm just defending them) i say just leave it alone and start calling the Patriots a good team. O'k, they've used a video camera on the sideline, but what difference does it make where they've video taped. Any team in the NFL or College can see what call is being made by the QB regardless of where the vid camera is. And, keep in mind back in the 2006 season the Dolphins did the same thing against the Patriots, but nobody care'd because they weren't a winning team. But, when a SuperBowl winning Patriots did it against the Jets people started calling them cheaters. And the reason why everyone is mad at the Patriots right now is because their just a good team and they don't want 2 believe. C'mon people, stop hatin' and start appreciating their just a good team and i really don't believe their cheating since the league banned the use of the camera and now have spotters throughout stadium 2 make sure that don't happen again

To the Charger fan above me. So if you feel that way, do you then call your own team cheaters? You know, since Merriman was caught using steroids and all. Once a cheater always a cheater, right? Edit: Umm yes, but it was not I who called your team or player cheaters in the first place, nor did I deny that my team did break the rules. I try not to judge too much, because I know it always comes back to bite you in the butt or eventually it could make me look like a hypocrite. Don't throw rocks at glass houses...is my motto.

i agree they are a good team, but cheating is cheating, its still shameful. the sad thing is is they probably had a chance to go undefeated, or at the very least have another great season, without cheating. but now that they did they will never really get full credit for their achievements this season. so really it serves them right though, there is not place for cheating in the nfl.

If they were mediocre or below .500 team this subject would of died way back. Definitely would not be a Yahoo questions issue. However, since they are representing the AFC for the Superbowl and also with a perfect record so far, unfortunately the spotlight still remains huge even with they were legitimately winning the games thereafter.
