Thread: ps3 vs 360 thoughts.?

All this speculation is confusin me but i think its slotting into place after weeks of research. I just need confirmation.Many people said the 360 is graphically better(so far) but the other argument is that the older games,ie Madden etc were 360 conversions to the ps3 and 2008 we will see the ps3 rule.At first i didnt believe people until i saw the review on 2 brand new games,one of them is Burnout Paradise.The guy showed videos on both consoles and he said the ps3 version is far superior.. ps3 ver runs at 60ffp, the 360 only 50ffp.The ps3 ver supports HD, the 360 only VGA.Plus he said in the distance the buildings and cars pop into place on the 360 but on the ps3 they naturally come into the scene.On another site Ninja Gaiden Sigma ps3 was tested with Ninja gaiden 2 on the 360 and 3 reviews say that the ps3 is much more graphically enhancedDoes this mean we are starting to see the potential of the PS3 starting to overshadow the 360? It looks that way now?Thought?

Hmm I guess. I am a PS3 owner. I bought it not to be fanboy but for the games and at the present time, PS3 looks to blow 360 away just as last year 360 had some heavy hitters. ps3 was rushing games at first and alot of them were 360 conversions but now we are seeing more ps3 exclusives like haze which looks fantastic and possibly crysis. i think ps3 is definitely taking over the console gaming world.

Games developers have had longer to learn the power of the 360, and so are utilising the machine more fully, (remember what the first 360 games looked like, and compare that to the latest titles)The same will happen with PS3, as developers learn more and more about the machine and its hardware, games will get better and better.

I own a 360 Elite and it is awesome. 360 has games that PS3 doesn't (Halo 3, Gears Of War). The 360 online gameplay is the greatest part. I have many friends on Live so I really like it. Halo 3 is the best online game and probably the best title along woth Assain's Creed and Call Of Duty 4. As far as the graphics, they are basically the same; they are awesome either way. I have a 50'' 720p HD tv so it is amazing. Bottom Line: Graphics are equal. Games: 360 > PS3 . Online gameplay: 360 > PS3

here is the skinny on the whole thing i own a xbox 360 elite falcon edition and i have a ps3 80 gig. as far as graphics go both systems have superior graphics i mean come on we are talking red apples to california apples, what difference does 60ffp vs 50ffp make both systems have more than stunning graphics but if you wanna know the real the xbox 360 is a better platform game makers love making software for the 360 they say it is way easier, plus xbox live is unriveled and way better than anything sony will ever come out with software makers have to make their games on a blu ray format for the ps3 while it is only hi def for the 360. i am a video game lover period so i had to have the ps3 but they dont have any games for it and if the same games are on the xbox360 i rather play my 360 plus i can go on xbox live and feel the rumble unlike my ps3, if you wanna know which system is better than it cant be a ps3 cause your asking. and as far as the potential the ps3 maybe on paper a way better system but software developers and hardcore gamers alike dont agree so the only people who are sticking with the ps3 are those who dont have the luxury of owning both systems lol
