Allow me just say it frank: I've never played over an hour or so of a Jak and Daxter game before Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier. I perform, however, love action-platformers like Sony's Ratchet and Clank games and was prepared to bind headfirst into a comparable portable adventure. Unluckily I've come away dissatisfied, as Jak's most recent adventure falls deep into the well of poorness. The Lost Frontier is full of amusing and well-designed moments, but repeats this satisfied to the point of tedium. Unite this with some dreadful checkpoints, awful boss battles and a story that actually makes no sense to a novice (or anyone, almost certainly) and you end up with a game that still fans will have a hard time loving.
