In The Bachelor: The Videogame, players fight for one of five Bachelors and five Bachelorettes based on actual-life Bachelors and Bachelorettes from TV series. Players can select from an assortment of avatars that best suits their character. In single player mode, game is prearranged like TV show. It is includes of multiple episodes where player fights beside the game characters for time only with Bachelor or Bachelorette. The Wii version presents multiplayer mode for a fun party game allowing players to fight against their frenemies. Adversary can damage others' dates and avoid them from receiving a rose!

During every season or game, competitors go on a diversity of Group Dates and a One-On-One Date to receive hearts. These dates contain fun challenges, puzzles and mini-games, which test skills for example memory, speed, watching and accuracy. At finish of every season, players will contribute in the rose ceremony, where the Bachelor or Bachelorette must take into account the number of hearts that each competitor gained throughout the dates.
