The U.S. developer Red Fly Studio and Blue FangGameshave released inthe past week up to 55 people.Blue Fang Games is among PC gamers,mainly for itsZoo Tycoonknown games.The studio was founded in 1998and now concentrates on Facebook games like Kingdom Zoo and TheOregon Trail.According to the CEO Hank Howie approximately tenemployees were laid off, thereby reducing the total number ofemployees to 20.Compared with the U.S. video game siteGamasutra,however, a source said the layoffs, which says otherwise.Accordingly,approximately 15 employees were dismissed, while the team wasdismantled in recent weeks continues.Over time, some 25 employeeswere dismissed.


The Red Fly Studios from Texas areresponsible for the platformingMush Room Menfor theNintendoWiiand theDS.They also have the Wii console ports forGhostbusters: The VideoGameandStar Wars: The Force Unleashed 2over.About 30 employees werelaid off in the past week.According to CEO Dan Borth is the reasonfor the termination of the absence of a "major project"that was surprisingly stopped by the client.
