Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase is apparently so pleased with his work that he is already toying with a successor. As he confirmed in an interview the circumstances chances of a Final Fantasy XIII-2 very well but were dependent on the sales in the West. In Europe and the U.S. Final Fantasy XIII wandered since the release last week three million times already on store counters and rising.

In the characters and the combat system Kitase however provides a lot of potential and would Lightning & Co. keen to launch another console appearance. It remains to be seen whether or not Final Fantasy XIII can crack neither this country nor the five million mark.
