Although there are developers Media Molecule in recent months all the trouble of a successor to Little Big Planet denials it was Little Big Planet 2 announced today apparently accidentally. In an interview with the online portal Dailymotion Folkert Langeveld employees of Sony Computer Entertainment Benelux confirmed that there would be definitely a Little Big Planet 2 and that in the PlayStation 3-exclusive titles including the new PlayStation Move motion control would be used.

Until now developers Media Molecule had adamantly maintained that a successor to Little Big Planet would not fit the ideology of the studio. Sony Computer Entertainment however has not yet taken a position on Langeveld statement.
