In Kinect titles Fable: The Journey will be available either incontrast to the regular Fable parts no shot and melee weapons - atleast not in the hands of the player. Lead developer Peter Molyneuxexplains this decision as: "We could have installed meleeweapons, but if one thing I hate melee, and also regarding firearms, then expect the human brain, one of those things kind recoil. When Iswing a weapon and some meet them on the screen, then rich graphicsand sound is not easy. We could make it so, as in The Legend ofZelda: Twilight Princess are working effectively. Come [there] is notso important what you do with yourself - what you see on screen iswhat counts. But I wanted them to feel the players really powerfulthat it's about you and your power. The thing about magic is thatnobody has a clue how she feels. So: no guns,
no swords."
