Thread: Trouble by Thief: Deadly Shadows

I have purchase Thief at the sale on steam, and then installing it I did tutorial and stuck to the part where you have to lift a lock on a door. Though, when I click the right mouse button nothing occurs, I've tried crouching in front of lock and only regarding all also, when I right click it just appears to focus on some random part of door. Is this a virus in the game, or is there any way to rip it?

Strange that's not at all occurred to me prior to do you as a minimum receive the 3 concentrically circles in the base right of the monitor. Do you receive the animation with Garret's hands grasping the tools and working the lock? Or the lock lift "mini game" doesn't still start I've had multiple play furrows of Deadly Shadows and not at all encountered such a virus prior to.

I have an easy clarification, that worked for me: under \Steam\steamapps\common\thief deadly shadows\System find the DEFAULT INI file and then found the Mouse Cursor segment comment out with a semicolon or eliminate the Image File=MouseCursor.dds segment you will have your default cursor, and it worked for me with no tampering the system.
