An all black brick, its screen takes up most of the real-estate. It boasts of a potential that could threaten the foundations of personalised, work-on-the-move devices. Unfortunately, this potential is wasted. Bound by tardy hardware, with a sadistic design that refuses to succumb to one-handed use, this phone makes the experience extremely masochistic.

The 6150 tries to give you the entire gamut of connectivity. It even gives the three options to browse all of the above and its vast menus: a huge touch screen, a jog dial and a joystick. Unfortunately all of these need some work; the touch screen with its high resolution can only be handled with the stylus. Even the joystick isn't built in the centre; instead it's more to the right, making it difficult for right and left-handers to use. The jog dial doesn't help much at all.

Yet there is one saving grace. The 6150 comes with a dedicated VGA cable that connects to most popular projectors and screens. As a result, you don't have to carry your laptop to every presentation you make. As for other media, it does play most music and video formats, the camera however, is forgettable. Smart people should look elsewhere
